One news blog that I really liked was a USA Today blog that was based around top news stories that could get people caught up on breaking news fast. The blog featured links to pages surrounding all the issues reported in the blog, and there are categories posted underneath the recent posts so one can catch up on world news, economics, obituaries, other popular news sites, as well as related advertisements. A blog like this I would add to my favorites list just because I am always so short on time, it would be convenient for me to read over this blog every day when I had access to the internet and get caught up on major issues in the news that otherwise may have slipped my attention.
Another News blog that I visit on occasion that is really worthwhile is Romenesko's blog on pondering website. This give more of an interactive approach to the news, including stories that are featured in leading news papers and putting them up for commentary online. The blog links directly to major news sites, especially after quotes or after specific references so the readers can see for themselves what the issue is exactly. It creates an eclectic combination of news that otherwise might not be complied so readers don't have to go searching around to find edgy stories that might spark their interest. Stories are drawn from countless news sites to provide a wide range of news stories along with a commentary option.
The third blog that really caught my attention was related to journalism in that it deals with the field of photojournalism. The blogger adds impeccable photos from about and world and coments on them in a journalistic style. The Photographs reflect what is happening in the world telling story by themselves. Photojournalism is very significant and I feel that in the future it will become more prominent as blogs and news sites expend, and journalism mutates into its new online/interactive form.
